काठमाडौं । भारी हिमपातका कारण युरोपको जनजीवन अस्तव्यस्त भएको छ । हिमपातका कारण फ्रान्स, इटली र स्वीट्जरल्यान्डका विभिन्न स्थानमा हजारौं पर्यटक अलपत्र परेका छन् । 

स्वीट्जरल्याण्डको स्की रिसोर्टमा फसेका झण्डै १३ हजार पर्यटकलाई हेलिकोप्टरमा ओसार्ने काम भइरहेको छ । 

कतिपय स्थानमा ३९ इञ्चसम्म हिउँ जमेको छ । रिसोर्टभित्र रहेका पर्यटकहरु बाहिर निस्कन सकेका छैनन् ।

उनीहरुको उद्दारको प्रयास भइरहेको अधिकारीहरुले बताएका छन् । फ्रान्स र स्वीट्जरल्यान्डमा १० वर्षयताकै बढी हिमपात भएको बताइएको छ ।

यसैबीच इटलीको एउटा पाँच तले भवन हिम पहिरोमा परेको छ । त्यहाँ रहेका २९ जनाले भने भागेर ज्यान जोगाएका छन् ।

The snow has blocked all roads and the train leading to the resort in the southern Swiss canton of Valais, which was also hit by some power outages, head of the station Janine Imesch said
